Engineering Surveyors

Engineering surveyors are generally associated with the design and construction of new infrastructure projects. These may include high-rise buildings, road freeway systems, road tunnels, airports, wharves etc. to ensure they are built in accordance with the design criteria with regards to location, size and shape.

An engineering surveyor is not required by legislation to be registered with the Surveyors Board of Queensland. However, many engineering surveyors seek an engineering endorsement and registration with the Board as a sign of their professionalism.
